Handicapped Palm Spinner Steering Wheel Device

Access Mobility Systems carries a full line of Spinner knobs and other driving aids.  Did you know that spinner knobs are also known as suicide knobs and are considered illegal for non handicapped users to use?  Why?  Because in the 1950s, when cars were made with bench front seats, kids would use a spinner knob on the steering wheel to be able to steer with their left hand, and use their right arm to drape over their girlfriend's shoulder.   Resulting in so many multiple crashes and deaths that the legislators were forced to outlaw the devices!  Hence the other nickname of the spinner knob - nekin knob or necking knob

Access Mobility Systems Seattle's wheelchair van leader is also Washington State's handicapped controls leader. With a MPS Palm Spinner your hand and wrist is comfortably secure while it assists you with handling of the steering wheel. With a push of a button this device is easily removed for other drivers. We recommend this steering wheel palm spinner with handicapped hand controls.
