Northstar in-floor ramp conversion

Our Northstar lowered floor wheelchair accessible minivan represents the culmination of our forward thinking philosophy: a power in-floor ramp offers open, unrestricted entry and exit as well as greater interior maneuverability. A one-touch remote allows effortless ramp deployment at your fingertips while our PowerKneel™ gives you a lower ramp angle, making access easier. There are many seating options for both wheelchair users and other passengers, with our removable front seat bases. The SURE DEPLOY™ electronic primary back up system gives the customer a simple way to operate the VMI Northstar in-floor ramp when the standard electronic control system is not functioning, or there is a total loss of power to the vehicle. When properly implemented, innovative thinking is communicated from design to final product with nothing getting lost in translation.

Summit folding ramp conversion

The Summit conversion delivers space in an innovative way: Through a uniquely powered fold-out ramp that delivers more interior space than competitive wheelchair van ramp systems. For added safety, higher side rails keep wheelchairs securely on track. Other standard features with the VMI Summit conversion include a fully powered fold-out ramp that has a smooth and precise operation and it is also equipped with an anti-rattle device. The PowerKneel™ system automatically and gently lowers the vehicle to decrease ramp incline and increase accessibility, which is just under 10°

The All-New 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan with a VMI Conversion was laboriously tested time and again to help ensure that this minivan's safety and security systems are executed with perfect choreography. While its standard antilock brake system (ABS) helps control the vehicle and shorten the braking distance, the standard Electronic Stability Program* (ESP) helps the driver maintain directional stability during braking, cornering, accelerating and maneuvering.
